The other day I was browsing through some old pictures on my cell phone, and suddenly my heart skipped a beat. If you’ll take a look at the top of the stairs (of Lock House 49), you’ll see a mysterious shadow figure that appears to be interested in what I’m doing. Now, here’s the rest of the story. On Super Bowl Sunday, a few of us went on a hike in the Four Locks area, and I snapped three pictures of the lock house. I had completely forgotten about them and didn’t remember anybody being on the porch. Oddly enough, the figure is in all three pictures, but zooming in on this one doesn’t reveal much. However, in the other two, a closer look reveals a hand, shoes, and a Navy pea coat. Suddenly, I knew exactly who was standing there–one of my friends! I’m a skeptic, but I have to admit that I was about to email Jason Hawes or Zak Bagans about my find. I’m kidding! I did learn a couple of things, though: I need a REAL camera, and there is probably a logical explanation for most strange pictures. From now on, Candee can take the pictures on her Olympus!
